This morning, I was practically sure of it. Fever, chills, headache, achy muscles...I popped some Tylenol and laid down. That was around 3 PM, I woke up at Midnight. Feeling better, but now I'm up all night!
Glad whatever it is doesn't look like it'll be keeping me from getting things done tomorrow. The 1st is important, as Jeff says, "It's your corporate welfare day." -- which he's right about in a sense. I collect my retainers on the 1st, those lovely checks that keep coming *knock on wood* no matter how much or how little work I actually do. Also, rent is due on the 3rd, and the first actually fell on a Sunday, which means precious little time in between when I deposit those lovely checks and the landlord deposits my rent check. This one's coming down to the wire.
If anyone wants to know, the birthday was lame. I brought it on myself by getting in an argument with Simon just a couple of days before he was supposed to host my party at his loft. Not to mention people have lives now. Can't always go out getting drunk with the friends, even on a Saturday.
While I was sleeping, the guy who's hooking me up with my new guitar called. I haven't checked the message yet. I called him yesterday to see if I could pick the thing up but he didn't call back until today. Will have to meet him later this week. I miss playing.
